Chicago ONTD_ST: TOS Marathon!  
ok guys, it's time to ramp this up. i'm out of college, and ready to do some SERIOUS FANGIRLING. since Trek is now officially out of theaters *sob* it's been suggested that we have a TOS marathon instead. i also MAY OR MAY NOT have a bootleg copy of the movie... just saying. i'm willing to host it at my apartment on the near northside (Montrose & Broadway, near the Wilson redline) or am open to any other suggestions.

i would like to do this before July 30th. 18th or 25th perhaps? comment with your availability and/or suggestions!

my tv is small as shit but i have a lot of seating, and there's a liquor store right around the corner. WE KNOW THAT IS NECESSARY. i may also be convinced to *~bake things~* SO LET'S PUNCH IT, CHICAGO.

[edit] ok, i majorly fail. i was supposed to be going out of town on the 30th, but turns out i'll be going on the 24th. AMG I AM SORRY i know we had pretty much settled on the 25th. can we make it August 1st instead bbs? *crosses fingers for no issues*

I just out of college myself and I've been watching TOS like there's no tomorrow.

I'm so in.

I live in the suburbs, so I can easily train or drive in!

Both of those (18 & 25) work well for me. At the moment I don't have a job D: so I'm pretty freeeeeee.

Can definitely do the red line. I love when places I need to be are close to the el. I think I'd be down for either of those days. Might have a couple of other fangirls tag along too.

i honestly planned this prematurely, as i don't yet know my work schedule. but i'm gonna attempt to get Saturdays off every week. but i'll figure it out lol. the 18th should be ok, even if i have to work a morning shift or get someone to cover me.

i think the 25th might be better, since the 18th is gonna be a serious Harry Potter weekend for a few people (ie. me). i'll send out LJ messages when i know more details~

Also, I have a super early flight out on the 17th of July. If you were me, would you just be like "fuck it" and go see Harry Potter at midnight and just know that you would collapse later? Or like ~the horror~ wait untl I get back into town?

Also, the River East is showing ST tonight, tomorrow, and wednesday. SO RANDOM. Just one showing each night.

you know, if it were me, i would go see HP. just because i'm a masochistic nutter/insomniac. you can always sleep on the plane!!

i wish i had lolla tickets, i actually don't :( i was just being courteous because i know a lot of people do. UGH. damn this whole being broke business lol.

The 1st works for me as well!

Random sidenote: I was checking the movie times for today since I'm bored out of my skull and don't have to work and was totally shocked to see that ST is playing at the AMC again. Its just one evening showing tonight, saturday, and sunday but still SO random. I'm almost tempted....Johnny Depp or GQMFs. Hmmmmm

No, they don't. If you want, I can stuff my blu-ray player in a backpack and bring that down. The TOS movies are great, especially Wrath of KHAAAAAAAAAAAAN!!!!
